As of 30JUL2018, sites have the ability to identify temperature monitoring devices as Damaged or Missing during Receipt of Temperature Monitored shipments. Indicating a device as Damaged requires the input of the device ID but does not allow entry of temperatures. Indicating a device as Missing does not allow any data entry whatsoever. In both scenarios, the inventory in the shipper is marked as Temperature Quarantined, and sites need to work with Pfizer's Temperature Excursion Support Team (TEST) to disposition the inventory. Please see the updated Receipt of Investigational Product guide found in Impala under Help Documents.
In support of scheduled maintenance, the Impala system will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) on Sunday Oct 14, 2018.
During this time, the Impala system will not be available to site users OR to Impala Support. Emergency Break Blind will be the only service available from Impala Support during this outage period. Please schedule your subjects accordingly.
The next Impala outage is tentatively scheduled to occur on 18-NOV-2018.
The announced upgrade of External Pfizer servers to TLS (Transport Layer Security) v1.2 has taken place. The following browser versions are no longer compatible with Impala: Internet Explorer v7 and lower, Safari v6 and lower, Chrome v2.9 and lower, and Firefox v26 and lower.
In order to use Impala, the following browser versions may be used: Internet Explorer V8/9/10 (with a configuration change), Internet Explorer 11, Safari v7 and higher, Chrome v30 and higher, and Firefox v27 and higher. If you need assistance configuring your Internet Explorer v8/9/10 to utilize TLS 1.2, please contact Pfizer Clinical Support at +1 877 433 2619 option 3 option 2 for assistance.
